Grakn Labs was first presented to our NPI community at the NPI Investor Showcase in January 2019. After a few more weeks of due diligence by the Investment Team confirming the attractiveness of the investment case, Grakn Labs was put forward to the Newable Ventures Scale Up Fund 3 Investment Committee and then again to our active network of investors at the very first Private Pitching Event in June 2019.
The business model was robust and the plan exciting and ambitious. Subsequently, Newable Ventures Scale-Up Fund 3 invested, together with the angels of the network, a total of almost £440k into the venture.
