Radiant Matter: Pioneering colour and material solutions for the circular economy

Realising that the industry had no sustainable options for embellishment components and surface coatings, in 2018, Elissa began the journey, drawing inspiration from nature’s vibrant hues found in peacock feathers, jewel beetles and hummingbird feathers. Elissa and her team engineer bio-inspired and structurally coloured materials that are non-toxic, biodegradable and low carbon, without the use of plastics, metals, minerals or pigments.
