The Inclusive Growth London programme is designed to support micro and small businesses that are female-owned and/or disabled-owned, operating in Camden, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, or Westminster. The programme provides scale-up business support across these boroughs and aims to strengthen the confidence and resilience of underrepresented business owners to unlock growth opportunities.

Why I joined the Inclusive Growth London programme
Repot Hackney Wick was born from a passion of plants, DIY and art. It was during the first lockdown that I discovered the positive impact of being surrounded by plants. Starting small by taking cuttings from my own plants and propagating them. Each pot was designed, painted then delivered on foot or by bike around Hackney Wick.
I joined the Inclusive Growth London programme because I felt overwhelmed and stuck, especially during the colder months, which are the most challenging for the business. I was looking for support, guidance and practical solutions to help me navigate these challenges and find a way forward.
What support I received
My experience with the Inclusive Growth London programme was very positive, particularly due to the virtual mentorship sessions with my adviser, Veronica Munoz de Andrea. She was motivating, open-minded and non-judgmental, which made a significant difference for me.
Veronica taught me new techniques to help view my business from different perspectives, and provided me with the confidence and tools I needed to work on our financial modelling – something I had always found daunting. Her guidance also improved my ability to present the business effectively and to articulate my ideas clearly.
