The Inclusive Supply Chain programme supports local, underrepresented SME’s in becoming supply chain ready by building their internal capabilities to meet the procurement criteria of larger businesses. Working with local, regional and national buyers who want to add value to their supply chain, we open up opportunities for smaller businesses to access large buyers and introduce them to new contract opportunities.

We started our journey with the Inclusive Supply Chain programme in 2023 and have received valuable support through our dedicated business adviser, Maria Anubi, guidance on industry best practices and access to resources aimed at helping us grow as suppliers.
Prior to receiving this support, accessing larger supply chains was quite challenging due to the competitive nature of the industry and the strict requirements for becoming an approved supplier. The biggest struggles included meeting compliance and accreditation requirements, establishing relationships with key buyers and navigating the procurement process effectively.
The Inclusive Supply Chain programme has been incredibly beneficial for our business. We received both virtual and face-to-face support, which included business development guidance, training sessions and networking opportunities. Through this support, we gained skills in supply chain management, contract negotiation and compliance, which have helped us better position ourselves for larger contracts. Additionally, the programme provided us with access to potential buyers, improving our chances of securing new contracts.
