In January 2024, AMI London connected with the Global London team. This initial interaction marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that would shape the brand’s trajectory.
AMI London faced significant obstacles in scaling the business. As an in-house producer, they struggled to keep up with growth demands. The need to outsource manufacturing arose but finding a partner capable of accommodating small batch production proved daunting. Additionally, AMI London lacked expertise in certain areas, hindering their overall business development.
AMI London actively engaged with the programme, benefiting from personalised 1-2-1 support and participating in online masterclasses. These sessions covered diverse topics, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising. Insights from industry experts empowered AMI London to implement strategic changes and have a clear direction, helping them secure a £10,000 grant from Glossier, as part of the Glossier Grant Program which invests in Black beauty entrepreneurs to address legacies of inequity, exclusion, and barriers to fundraising

Currently, AMI London is developing a wholesale strategy, aiming to expand into retail stores.
